I should have had a prize ready! ;) I was already thinking about adding a splash of color to give it a little pop and I've been dying to use green, especially a sharp modern green and I think it goes great with gray. I made the text closer to the white end by about 70%. Is that easier to read? How is it now. Also, do you think the font needs to be different, or perhaps bigger or both? Sometimes the fact that being self-taught can be a slight negative since everyone wants to see those cert's especially if they plan of giving you money but I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything. One note though ... as a cranky old fart the grey text is just a tad hard to read but other than that I like the look. As one self-taught programmer, web hacker and writer I wish you all the best.
