My work from home experience actually started 3 years ago. I was living in Arizona and working for the Army as a .net developer. My husband got transferred to Savannah, Georgia, but they were really happy with my work so for the next two years i worked from a home office. It was pretty awesome. I got to spend a lot more time with my kids and do all of the field trips for school. I had a newborn so he was able to be with me for the first year (until he really got mobile) and even when both kids were in daycare, sometimes they would only be there for 4 hours a day as I could work around their schedule. After being spoiled, I knew it would be SO hard for me to go back to working an office job, so now I just work for myself. There are definitely drawbacks but for me, the positives outweigh the negatives ten-fold!
